「古法」

今天早上聽電台節目,主持人提起了英國泰晤士報(The Times)的一篇報導,內容是有關世界各地仍然存在的一些古怪法律,可是他們說得有點不清不楚,於是趁有機會,便上網到泰晤士報的網站看看能否找到該篇報導。

古怪的報導果然是比較受歡迎的,上到Times Online,便馬上在他們的Most Read 的報導欄中找到這條新聞。

報導裡面列出了共二十五條的古怪法例,有些甚至古怪得有點另人摸不著頭腦。而當中,很多都是出自先進國家的「古法」。

 

24. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament.

國會大樓大都是非常古老的建築物,可能他們已經有足夠的鬼故事,不想再加添新的「成員」了……

23. It is an act of treason to place a postage stamp bearing the British monarch upside down.

原來郵票也是不可以亂貼的,否則變了叛國者被關了起來也不知。

22. In France, it is forbidden to call a pig Napoleon.

嗯……到底拿破崙也是法國的皇帝嘛……不過只是豬是不是有點不夠全面呢?

看來英國法例對於隨處小便有點很特別的執著呢……

這個的阻嚇性一定很高!大概沒有幾人有膽量去醉酒駕車了吧?

9. In Florida, unmarried women who parachute on Sundays can be jailed.

完全令人摸不著頭腦!!未婚女人+跳傘+星期天……這個組合不吉利嗎?

4. In Vermont, women must obtain written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth.

裝假牙也要得老公的書面批准,這個地方的男人可是大男人到至極……
